Downtown Vancouver Loft recommendations

Here is a recent article about some great Lofts and Architectural spaces in and close to Downtown Vancouver.

Each of these units and building offer something unique and great open concept style design.

YALETOWN
mini01#402 1180 Homer St - McMasters - This is one of the best heritage conversion buildings in Vancouver, with high-end finishing's and design.  It is a perfect blend of old and new.  It is also in a great Yaletown location. #413 - 1275 Hamilton St - Alda - This is another Yaletown conversion loft building designed by and named after Alda Pereira, with nice modern and classical elements.  This unit is smaller with only 818 sq.ft. but still has two beds/two baths.

#306 - 988 Richards St - Tribeca Lofts - This is a newer loft building in Yaletown/Downtown, it is supposed to mimic the style of some loft buildings in the "Tribeca" area of New York.  This unit is on one level, it features newer modern styled finishing, and a homely feel with separated rooms.



GASTOWN
terminus outside gastown#309 36 Water St - Terminus - These are beautiful contemporary newly built lofts in Gastown along Water St.  This is a two level loft, these minimalist architectural gems are worth a look as the design is very unique, and very open.  This may be too modern for the average eye.

 

 

CROSSTOWN (North West of Gastown)
#502 528 Beatty St - Bowman Lofts This is a rare heritage two level loft, these have a very warm feel and in a very well-done high quality conversion loft building.  Not to be missed.

#806 33 W Pender - 33 - This is a modernized loft building across the street from Tinseltown.  The design and architecture is very nice, but it is one the edge of town close to some developing areas.

#407 546 Beatty St - Crane - This is a very nice loft building with exposed brick and concrete floors.  These units are a bit cold, but offer great value and plenty of potential.  Once you put in a high quality kitchen and some proper lighting these units truly shine.

DOWNTOWN
#803 1252 Hornby St - Pure - This is a Downtown modern condo building.  These units are quite contemporary and modern.  Its a 2008 built boutique tower.  The condos are finished very nicely.  The spaces are also very bright. 

FALSE CREEK NORTH
pomaria front howe st#1501 1455 Howe St - Pomaria - This is a very nice Architectural condo tower with modern design.  It is located one block from the Yaletown seawall.  And features high-end kitchens and bathrooms.  The fit and finish are very nice, and feature high-end appliances.

 

 

 

 

 

COAL HARBOUR
qube front#1414 1333 W Georiga St - Qube - This is a Coal Harbour loft/condo building.  This tower was originally commercial and was converted to modernist condos in 2006.   The location and uniqueness of the building put the Qube in a league of its own.
