South Granville Lofts - 1529 West 6th Avenue - WSIX

Live/Work Concrete lofts on Granville and 6th Ave.  These industrial inspired units were first built in 1996, developed by Hynes Developments (click here for developer's info page) and since then some units have been upgraded by a Westbank Developments who had first purchased the building and then converted it to strata condos, some units remain in their original condition.  This is one of the few buildings on the Westside and that offer Live/Work zoning.  The building features unique architecture with exposed metal, copper and concrete with an open courtyard allowing private entrances and plenty of light into each suite/loft.  This building is also named WSIX.  The developers site explains the building as "The architecture is purposefully designed to encourage social interaction and be publicly accessible and open.
